I really hope they pass a bill. Seriously fuck AI. We don't need it.

Politics related - I'm following what's happening at Columbia University and the student reporters on WKCR FM are doing a great job. They're doing a better job than cable news.

They're also mass-arresting student protesters at City College:

The only way we'd be able to curb ai use if it became monetized a la royalties. If all the data that got scalped had to be paid to the original data creator then we'd never see ai use.

I'm actually how her deepfake AI is gonna work cause I thought it sounded kinda weird and cool at the same time.

Uhhh Idk if you should create your own "deepfake" to interact with people while saying another AI is going to unravel your existence. Not that I think any AI imitating a real person is good. But it feels sort of spiderman pointing at spiderman pointing at spiderman. No?

Idk if it's AI using your own property couldn't it be an extension of your art? I'm not sure how i feel on it either though tbh.

Yeah I guess if it's defined that way almost like an art exhibition or something. I interpreted it as it would keep fans and social media people busy "interacting" with her while she did things. Basically like a publicist or "team" would. Maybe I'm not understanding.

In her full statement she mentioned the different is that deepfake made was her full consent and control whereas other potential AI of her is not. So I guess she's got some type of regulation on it?
