Uhhh Idk if you should create your own "deepfake" to interact with people while saying another AI is going to unravel your existence. Not that I think any AI imitating a real person is good. But it feels sort of spiderman pointing at spiderman pointing at spiderman. No?

Idk if it's AI using your own property couldn't it be an extension of your art? I'm not sure how i feel on it either though tbh.

Yeah I guess if it's defined that way almost like an art exhibition or something. I interpreted it as it would keep fans and social media people busy "interacting" with her while she did things. Basically like a publicist or "team" would. Maybe I'm not understanding.

In her full statement she mentioned the different is that deepfake made was her full consent and control whereas other potential AI of her is not. So I guess she's got some type of regulation on it?

I think it's just the way the statement reads to me almost like "robots can't replace me because robots don't have feelings and my life experience and can't paint the Sistene Chapel, but also I made a robot and trained it so that one is ok even though it also has none of those things." I guess the unknown thing is how she plans to deploy it, like the commenter above maybe she does mean it as a form of artistic expression as opposed to what I was thinking.

In the statement it says it will be used for her social media and to further her reach and engagement so that she can focus on her studio work. So to me it doesn’t exactly read as art but more like a nanny bot doing the stuff she doesn’t really like such as social media….

I’m curious then why not hire someone or have someone on her team do that job?

I'm assuming money. She probably would hire someone if she had Taylor Swift/Beyoncé money.

Is her lawsuit against her ex still going on? If so, I'm sure that alone can take a chunk of her bank account.

I get what she's doing and what the commenters below are saying; She's controlling her own content with consent and getting revenue from it. But at the same time AI in general is insidious and promoting making your own AI is condoning AI (at least imho). If you make it, you support it. If you support it you're also a part of the system and a part of the problem ( ... )

I actually don’t think AI can be used for good, especially after all the brain rot of the last ten years. The world is too capitalistic for benevolent AI to become a thing. Everyone wants more for less and AI is the most convenient tool for that.
