That candle! I think it's great that she's helping raise her nephew... not many people would do that.

The same week of her birthday? A video named “the real tea”… that’s weird.

I mean, not really. Especially since this popped up again and it's around her sister's birthday. It's 10x weirder she even had to make this video or gets these comments in the first place.

not really. like i noted in the post, just recently, the day before naya's birthday, paps/the media felt the need to dig this all up AGAIN so.

This poor girl. She stepped in and gave up her own life to take the job of being there for her nephew in her sister's place - while mourning her sister. She was likely unable to even grieve properly.

Fuck people for their hatred.

editing to add something personal. I've lost two sisters. I've got two left. I've got three sons (now grown) and my younger sister has two. From the beginning, we always told each other that if anything happened, we would immediately just take over for each other. Husbands or fathers weren't considered or even thought about, honestly. It was just- don't worry about that. Never worry about THAT. We just knew - and still know today, even though we barely talk anymore bc of distance and opposite lifestyles - that if one of us died, the other would drop everything and take their place as much as humanly possible.

That's what you DO.

This whole thing makes me feel so fucking sorry for her.

I’m sorry for your loss

I don’t have kids and tbh I don’t really want them but if something happened to my sister I would def step in and take care of her kids.

How so many people felt so comfortable immediately sexualizing the grieving & coping of a family going through an extreme tragedy is beyond me. Like, how disgusting.

Yeah, like IIRC weren't Naya and Ryan not even together at the time of her death?

I didn't get why people would feel weird about it because it wouldn't be the first time that people bonded through deep mourning and sometimes we've seen it turn into a romance down the road

Literally, who cares. Grief is such a specific and unique phenomenon to each person. So misunderstood and complex, it’s infuriating to see people casting aspersions on how someone behaves in the aftermath of losing a loved one.

People looking from the outside need to learn tact and empathy, but it seems impossible on the anonymized internet.

IA, it’s so weird people felt like they had the right to tell her how they felt about it let alone send death threats?!
