Naya Rivera's younger sister Nickayla has recently started a Youtube channel, and in the second uploaded video, she opens up about the vicious hate and death threats she received when she made the decision to move in with Naya's ex-husband, Ryan Dorsey, to help with raising her nephew, Josey.

In the video, Nickayla addresses the fact that she moved in to help raise Josey and doesn't regret it, gives examples of the kinds of comments she got, how she now better understands just how harmful cyberbully can be, and how she feels like outside of harmful and hateful things such as racism, homophobia, and forms of abuse and assault, people should mind their business.

Pictures originally surfaced of Nickayla and Ryan shopping for Josey's birthday in September 2020, and people immediately jumped to the conclusion that they were dating, to the point that Ryan felt that he had to post a (since deleted) emotional video on his Instagram explaining the situation and that Josey asked if his aunt could move in with them, and both of them decided to grant his wish after all he'd been through. Just recently, around the time of Naya's birthday (January 12th), the paps felt the need to take pictures of the three of them outside their house while Ryan was teaching Josey how to ride his bike without trainning wheels to inform the masses that she's still living there.
