I’m really excited for this. I was a little kid when it happened and so I wasn’t old enough to be aware of the scandal. However, it truly had such a long lasting legacy- my mom and I have talked about what happened to Janet many times over the years. it’s infuriating that a white man who made money off of the talent/imagery of Black artists got off relatively unscathed (because he could coast on his white man status and go back to it when it benefitted him), while Janet Jackson was vilified.

You had me until you brought race into the issue... why is it always about race now? Seriously, ask yourself that.

The US is so full of bullshit puritans. A nipple is the end of times for children but gun ownership is fine and dandy.

I watched this live and it was barely visible, lol. I couldn't believe people were so scandalized by it.

I watched this last night and the NYT went IN on Timberlake, even talking about how he used the Black community for clout. They even had old interviews with his disrespectful ass and it made me dislike him even more than I did initially.

He is thoroughly dragged. I watched the first Britney doc they did and he was thoroughly dragged in that - now this. It's lovely. They shouldn't stop tbh.

They should start a series: Dragging Useless Men:
Session 1: Justin Timberlake

It would be a neverending series

I mean Mayo In the Woods was a flop, I don’t know if he’ll ever have the same impact he did in previous years. But yes, I would love for him to actually acknowledge and have to pay for inflicting serious career damage on Brit and Janet.

I don't think he's going to be able to keep quiet about this. I hope so.
