Why is Regé Jean Page getting nominated for an acting award?

Is he this year’s Emily in Paris, did Netflix do it again.

There were some thirsty nominators.

IA, I mean... Max Minghella? I think he is hot af in The Handmaid's Tale but, like, there is barely any acting involved. He is just there looking suave in his Commander attire and/or kissing June.

ETA: I read it as "thirsty nominations" lmao but still true

The biggest pleasant surprise for me was Michaela, and specially cause I recently found she doesn't have an agency

Also, really? There's literally no more shows to nominate?

Variety Sketch Series
Saturday Night Live (NBC) (WINNER)
A Black Lady Sketch Show (HBO)

The made a change a couple years back. now the number of nominees in a category is proportional to how many submissions there were in the category. There were only 9 submissions in the variety sketch series category so they got 2 nominations #

It’s true, I’ve truly never forgiven the Emmys for consistently ignoring Legion despite it being ahead of its time.

I can’t at Hamilton’s win.

Me either. Or most of its nominations. Especially acting, like…the Tonys should’ve been the only show those types of nominations were eligible for.

I get being nominated for technical stuff that helped bring the production to TV but other than that nah man

I'm so happy for all the Ted Lasso wins! It's seriously been such a source of joy for me.

Also really happy for Michaela and Josh O'Connor.

I'm sad for Emma Corrin because this was a huge chance for her, and I personally think she deserved it over Olivia. I'll just think of Olivia's win as a retroactive award for her performance in Broadchurch.

Lastly, I liked The Queen's Gambit but the two guys who spoke for it tonight made me want to actively hate the show.

I feel that for every scripted show about a woman winning in a ~man's world, there's one or more smug asshole behind the scenes tbh

It's self insert
