I also agree her death was very much accidental, and that Jen Aniston was the best ive ever seen her.

SC can go, honestly we don't need him as the villain and keeping him around is like giving him a platform to be more manipulative or something like, his damage is done now get rid of him. I agree on Chip IDG people on twitter calling him a hero he didn't do anything for the service of those who were targeted? but im still on the fence about Cory, he seems like a crazed willy wonka but also he seems to have good motives like he genuinely wants to out these guys but idk.

Nah Cory is super nasty to everyone, like that whole power trip where he told the producer that he literally greenlit the money to make a pilot so that she could see how shit her own taste was. He straight up took down Fred so he could take Fred's position and while he hasn't shown him to be a sexual predator (yet! Trust no man!) his motives weren't about cleaning house but about gaining power ( ... )

I didnt get thats why Cory greenlit the pilot? that scene seemed to be highlighting that he isnt bothered by making severe changes or people thinking he's crazy, I didn't see it had anything to do with the producer. just that when he saw the pilot he didn't like the show and he wasn't gonna put a bad show on the air that was it.

he literally said he took down Fred so he could start programming things he wanted to see, which included abusers getting outed and confessing. he threatened SC to "confess or you're done" because thats what he said he wanted to see. IDK, I agree trust no man, but so far he seems 'okay'. I dont think he is obsessed with Bradley I think he sees her like the golden ticket, that she is a loose cannon and he wants to protect that chance. thats the vibe I got anyway, but im still on the fence I need to see more of him.

i actually enjoyed this show, everyone did a great acting job, steve carrell being the stand out for me. especially since it's so obviously based on matt lauer. but hannah dying in the finale is bullshit and unnecessary. that's just bad writing

I've heard so many people bash Carrell but I think he's so perfect as Mitch. Like he is the perfect blend of cheesy, charming and creepy as fuck.

First of all, having not checked for this show in the slightest, I had no idea Gugu was in it. Second, the AUDACITY 😡👏🏽

even before the twist with hannah the episode was unwatchable. this show tries so hard to be something aaron sorkin would write and legit has to give every character some big monologue that isnt really necessary.

there was multiple instances where it looked like it was going to have potential and then they squandered it away. it even looked like the second season was gonna give it a nice new status quo too but it looks like they arent letting any of this go just yet. sad.
