The only person I believe Cory really cares about aside from himself is Bradley who he is weirdly obsessed by. I still want to know wtf is going on with them. I can't tell if he actually cares about her or if he's just excited by what she means for the show.
It's weird that people think Chip was a hero. Like they literally explained his prime motive of going forward with the interview was hoping it would be explosive enough so Fred could be fired and he would be re-hired. He def isn't a straight up villain and I do believe he was uncomfortable with Mitch and he did try to protect the women who worked on the show, but even in his voicemail to Alex he came forward not to protect the women but to protect Alex who he was friends with but who was also easier for him to work with.

He goes into this long baseball analogy and I forget the exact wording but he's like "Sometimes you give a player you know is a failure a chance so the scout who was pushing him can see that they made the wrong choice" only meaner. To me it seemed like a direct hit at that producer.

I always thought it was clear he loved Alex, but as a friend and colleague. I really don't want the show to hook them up (lol how funny is it that he loves her and she so clearly knifed him though? Gotta be a big hit to the ego.)

I wish they dragged out Alex vs. Everyone more because that was more interesting than the weird quick fix of the finale. I think it made her a more interesting character to explore, but that kind of messiness is something I don’t think the show has the range for.
