I feel so bad for her and all of this stems from ignorance & jealousy. Leave her alone!!

Wanting a fair playing field is not ignorance or jealousy. If Caster has hormone levels a woman would normally have if doping, then they have an unfair advantage that would get others disqualified.

where do we draw the line when it's an "unfair advantage" she was born with tho ykwim?
like being super tall is also an advantage in some sports, do we bar outliers above a certain height?
i'm not trying to be snarky, I honestly have no idea how they should regulate this

I'm hoping this post goes well.

What are the proposed eligibility rules? Is it at the source lol

The new regulations require any athlete who has a Difference of Sexual Development (DSD) that means her levels of circulating testosterone (in serum) are five (5) nmol/L or above and who is androgen-sensitive to meet the following criteria to be eligible to compete in Restricted Events in an International Competition (or set a world record in a Restricted Event at competition that is not an International Competition ( ... )

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it, as I'm sure the rest of the commenters in this post do.

To force someone to take hormonal contraceptives is unethical af imo

Ah, I see - they're now suddenly requiring women with hyperandrogenism to take medicine if they want to compete to lower their testosterone level to "normal" levels for the "health" of the athlete, if they actually want to compete.

Yeah that seems really targeted there. Some guy in the Guardian article says she'll lose 5 to 7 seconds off her times.

This is bullshit.

Agreed. Also, did they cancel shahs of sunset?

Did she marry the michael jackson relative or is that someone else

That’s exactly my thought. Perhaps this is too simplistic an example, but someone like Shaq is naturally much taller than the average man nonetheless human, should he have some have been barred from basketball because of his “unfair advantage.”

Fuck this noise and let the black woman live tbqh
