the gender/sex line is shaky at times. there are multiple ways to segregate men and women: chromosomes, hormones, genitalia--and none of them are cut and dry. idk why some people believe that trans women should be barred from women's athletics as a common sense thing. there needs to be more research on it. as far as i know cis women have beaten trans women in sports and vice versa.

They used to just say that people with a Y chromosome could not compete in women's events, which disqualified some athletes. They changed that, and now they just need to have a testosterone under a certain level.
