I had to write about this while it was still somewhat fresh, but I kinda wish I would forget about it and stop haunting me. In time it will fade away from my memory.
I always found that intense dreams (nightmares or otherwise) would set the mood for the day for me. :( That sounds like a particularly frustrating and awful dream, too.
Yeah, that nightmare really put me on edge and I sent an email to my apartment complex manager with s bit of my frustration with her lack of helpfulness.
Typically I am usually mellow and nice to almost everyone. I was kind of a down mood throughout the day today but I knew I had to suck it up and be stronger.
The best I can really do is try to forget that awful dream or put it in that dark cornner of my mind where negative thoughts go, which seems to be alot of issues there lately. Otherwise, I would constantly be depressed.
Nightmares are the worst. Part of my chronic insomnia involves nightmares and the fear that I will have one (and thus, not going to bed). And ones that have a realistic sense to them...where you have to spend time coming to the conclusion that none of it happened....ugh.
Between my own experiences and what you've written here, I can see how very upsetting this must have been. *hugs*
