i had my wisdom teeth out two weeks ago. i had all four of them out at once, and the two bottom ones were severely impacted. it was also my first surgical procedure of any sort (i had a root canal filled about four years ago, but i don't count that). misery. absolute misery. i was in exquisite pain for about five days afterwards, which i masked ( Read more... )

mom-mom's kidneys are failing. i went to visit her today and she just wasn't there. she looked like she was in so much pain. mom doesn't seem to think she'll make it through the night. i wish she could come home.

i'll process this all later. just figured i'd write this down. makes it more real, i guess.
