king of the road

keith and i are heading out on friday on a road trip cross-country. we're taking my grandmother's car out to my uncle in los angeles, and then he's getting us standby tickets to fly home.
here's where we staying:
weirton, WV
dayton, OH
st. louis, MO
tulsa, OK
amarillo, TX
albuquerque, NM
flagstaff, AZ
los vegas, NV
los angeles, CA
with the exception of arizona, nevada and california, these are all states i have never been to. not that i've ever felt the pressing desire to go to oklahoma, but whatever. keith and i already made a massive map of all the things we want to see and eat, but it's kind of haphazard. do you, livejournal, have any suggestions for things to do, see, and eat?
suggestions for the road trip mix are also appreciated. i can't listen to roger miller the entire way out - or can i? i could go to the roger miller museum in erick, oklahoma!
