The Last Post

Another Figure from 1994 Rwanda
Another interesting figure of the Rwandan genocide is that of Roméo Dallaire the Canadian general (then technically of Dutch citizenship) in charge of the UN Peacekeeping mission in Rwanda. I went downstairs for a while, and was closing my eyes. Eventually I decided to see if I could find my way around Gould Plaza with my eyes closed. This is not a safe idea, and I certainly do not recommend any of you try it during the day in a public place.
