So here’s the thing.  I’ve come to realize a lot about myself and my life recently.  Work had been keeping me incredibly busy but I found time in there for discovery nonetheless.

Stop speeding... and cutting off people... and parking crappily
Learn to say no
Be less of a prude
Realize some people just aren't worth the effort

The end of relationships/crushes/lust fits are funny in the way they curiously, like any other form of grief at the loss of something you cared for, lead you through the mourning stages.   It makes sense I suppose and of course each step isn't to the extreme one feels at the real loss of someone they love but it's still similar enough.  So,  ( Read more... )

A lot has happened since July 5 and I apologize for the lack of updates... this month has just zoomed by me.  Some highlights:
Research is going, my lab is hysterical and they keep me wanting to come in day after day. 
I miss S. a lot and wish he wasn't so far away.
