But it was cheap(er) because I got it in January, and I'm a fan of the book. I have a funny-shaped window in my room (like a rectangle cut in half diagonally) that looks out onto the street from the second level of the house.  Looking through it from my bed I can only see trees and the sky --no street.

Yay! The second season of Flight of the Conchords starts screening here tomorrow night. :D And the first episode is preceeded by a one-hour doco (by a Wellington film-maker) about the making of the first series.

I ran a print test of Underworld: Rise of the Lycans at work tonight (it opens here on Thursday) and noticed that Craig Parker and Elizabeth Hawthorne were in it. That made me think that at least some of the movie had been filmed in NZ, so I made a point of watching the credits, which were extremely long! I just spent the better part of an hour moving boxes and sifting through my stuff, searching for a particular videotape that I haven't looked at in years.
