* Very proud of my little bro (Leeroy's dad) who is one of the 100 New Zealand artists featured in the new collector's guide Seen This Century by Warwick Brown.   :D

ah Battlestar Galactica... I didn't watch the whole series...actually I tuned out at the start o the second, but I did watch the finale. I was very disappointed. I was like 'So, the pyrimads and all that actually evolved from space aliens and robots and their children... very original"

'Flat Stanley' :) very cute! I remember being in second grade and the class had an invisible 'pet'. One person would 'take it home' and write a story about it. I'm surprised the kids are not writing a story about 'Flat Stanley' themselves. hm... so where is Flat Stanley going in NZ?

Maybe the kids have to write a story about Flat Stanley's adventures from the journals that his 'hosts' seen back with him ...? I don't really know.
Flat Stanley will only be visiting Hamilton this time round - not the most exciting place --heh, heh-- but he came to work with me today and learned all about the movie projectors! Tomorrow we'll see the river and bridges, and maybe go to a friend's art exhibition.

Yeah, I thought the final of BSG was a cop-out, but after a short chat with one of my friends today, I know I need to re-think and re-watch and I might feel differently. I think there's still a lot of plot-lines I haven't quite got straight.
I was expecting something a bit more dramatic, rather than the 'happy ending'. I think more of the major characters should have been killed off ... not sure why or how - maybe it would have made the end more poignant?

I've seen the whole series! But then, I kind of liked the conclusion. I cried (Roslyn!), but was happy with how it all wound together.

Yeah, I cried too at various points at the end of the series. I had a love/hate thing going with Roslyn. I loved her strength, but most of the time her mannerisms annoyed the frack out of me!

I do think it was clever how all the various strands came together, but I still haven't got it all straight in my head (finding the nuked 'Earth', then landing on 'Earth' at the end confused me). I'll probably end up watching season 4 again, sometime soon ...

But now I'm remembering episodeds in seasons 1 and 2 that were really good and worth watching again also. Heh, heh!
