After a crazy beginning to the month of December, I have finished work for the year. Every weekend my work would have multiple parties every day. Some days we would have over a thousand people spread out over three or four ballrooms. Insanity ensued every day. I worked 33 hours in 3 days the first weekend, and I worked 19 out of 25 hours last ( Read more... )

So I was on bar today, for a christmas party for a construction party. Host bar, but they had to get tickets from those in charge. Once you use up your tickets, you just asked for more. The bar tenders were given a few so that we could give them out to people who had run out. Once their tickets had ran out, and ours, they tried to buy them off ( Read more... )

Got called at quarter to eleven to go into work. Worked from 12:30 to 9. How much was actual productive time, who knows. It almost felt like they didn't have an actual reason to have me in.
