Coming at you in all 8 bit glory
It's six in the morning, I've been up since 5:30, and the thing I chose to do is write to you people. I must be out of my mind.
I have work at eight this morning, then it's off to the North Shore Area service team meeting. Speaking of work, I did almost 33 hours over a 3 day period last weekend. The fun part is that's only the warm up weekend for this one. **big thumbs up** The sad part is I won't be getting any shifts after the 18th (well perhaps some, but most likely none). I guess it gives me a week to do all my christmas shopping. Which I won't start till then, due to lack of time, and pure stubbornness.
As to the name of this post, I've been downloading (well there's a surprise) a bunch of music that's considered mashups. Some great stuff too. (Though you have to wait through quite a bit to find some) Some of the coolest are these remixes where they've redone songs to sound like an NES (Nintendo). Kinda fun and geeky at the same time. It takes a lot of skill to try to emulate all the complexities of the songs. The hardest are the soft song, which in some case don't turn out as well. I've also got some christmas remixes, most quite funny.
