I do okay when a heavy load of work is on me, but for my thesis, a lot of it is dependent on participants. Will they show up? Are they color blind? Will they laugh too much? I've decided to stop worrying about so-called important things. Big life changes and decisions come and go, but certain life mysteries endure forever. Such as:

Why is it that I can eat a ton of tomatoes if they are chopped up, but the idea of biting into one like an apple is completely unappealing?

Wow.

For something that has upset me so much, that had a beautiful ending. I am glad to have found someone mature enough to dignify me with a kind goodbye, although it makes me a more than a little sad right now.

I seriously sometimes think I will only be happy traveling in Europe, by myself, living moment to moment. No one understands my passions, aesthetic pleasures, and belief that fully appreciating something requires being completely sober. No one will want to tour historical sites and stare for an hour at a beautiful staircase.
