I've set a day for leaving - August 29th.  That's a Wednesday.  I know that most people will be back to school by then, so if you want one last blaze of glory with me, let me know.  If I let my boss know a week in advance, I can most likely get the day off.  I've got a few things I want to do before I leave, but other than that, I should be fine.

I've hurt someone I really care about.  It really sucks, but I had to do it for my own sanity.  Is that selfish of me?

Something about organic chemistry brings people together.  I guess the hours of suffering and studying together constitutes as bonding.  And now whenever I think bonding, I think sp, sp2, and sp3.  I've gotten to know so many people lately whom I never would have known had it not been for the hours outside of Dr. Doig's office or in the library.  ( Read more... )
