Turkle and The Machine Stops
Comparing Sherry Turkle's, "The Second Self" and E.M. Forster's, "The Machine Stops" just seems like the easiest thing to do for this specific blog post. Open Topic: NPR Online Predator Myth
The last NPR Pod-cast we had to listen to talked about the online predator myth. The interviewee was saying that a new study showed that the notion of online predators is exaggerated. The Compatible Time-Sharing System (CTSS) was developed at MIT in 1961. It was one of the first time-sharing operating systems.
