The Compatible Time-Sharing System (CTSS) was developed at MIT in 1961. It was one of the first time-sharing operating systems. I agree. CTSS has been very influential to the internet. The applications that Corbato and his team designed has provided our society with many benefits. The internet has impacted our society's way of communication, which is one of many reasons why the 21st century is labeled the technology age.

I like the way that you tied in CTSS and the Internet by explaining their similarities right from the beginning. It really helps the reader to understand the importance of both systems. Aldo, in your second paragraph you make clear about what CTSS was and the innovations that have been made to make the internet possible. And hey, without the internet I wouldn't be typing this response right now. haha.

I agree that CTSS did contribute to what we know the internet is today. The internet is a very important aspect of all our daily lives. The internet allows us to communicate easier with one another and work faster in getting things done.
