It is an EXCELLENT BOOK!! Be warned, though, it will fuck your mind up. I still haven't read the sequel, but this book, it is so incredibly rewarding if you stick to it. And it's totally slash! Canon, even! I can't recommend it enough, seriously.

I am so happy you had fun!! It's still going, and it's awesome. Gives me a squishy warm feeling to see everyone making friends and getting along -- not unlike the first day of school! :D

asdfjkasdjf Eddings! I wasn't a fan of the Elder Gods or whatever that series was called, it meandered too much, but the Belgariad and the Mallorean, oh baby, I could talk about them ALL DAY. <3 (I adored Silk and Velvet) I should dig my books out and reread...

Yeah yeah yeah! I tried the Elenium series too and just couldn't get into it, but I have just returned from my local book dispensary with a shiny new OMNIBUS of the first three Belgariad novels :D MY PLANS TONIGHT ARE SET!

Hee! I adored Silk and Sadi the most, but I don't think there were any characters that I didn't love. Ce'Nedra's uncle? BAMF. Ce'Nedra herself, come to tht? BAMF! Poledra? OH HELL YEAH BAMF! Relg? Heee! I fucking loved Relg. And the Urgo king, Silk's brother whose name escapes me atm.

Those sound like awesome plans! :D Did you ever read the Redemption of Althalus? Not as good as the Belgariad etc but still really fun.
