asdfjkasdjf Eddings! I wasn't a fan of the Elder Gods or whatever that series was called, it meandered too much, but the Belgariad and the Mallorean, oh baby, I could talk about them ALL DAY. <3 (I adored Silk and Velvet) I should dig my books out and reread...

Yeah yeah yeah! I tried the Elenium series too and just couldn't get into it, but I have just returned from my local book dispensary with a shiny new OMNIBUS of the first three Belgariad novels :D MY PLANS TONIGHT ARE SET!

You should totes reread them! We could have a mini Avengers/Eddings fen bookclub and liveblog our squee :D

Hee! I adored Silk and Sadi the most, but I don't think there were any characters that I didn't love. Ce'Nedra's uncle? BAMF. Ce'Nedra herself, come to tht? BAMF! Poledra? OH HELL YEAH BAMF! Relg? Heee! I fucking loved Relg. And the Urgo king, Silk's brother whose name escapes me atm.

This is going to be so much fun :D

Those sound like awesome plans! :D Did you ever read the Redemption of Althalus? Not as good as the Belgariad etc but still really fun.

I am all for more squeeage, esp if the subject is Eddings! (or books in general!)

I'm trying to make it work in my head. I think maybe just sending them on an epic Fantasy Quest would work, but I can't figure them into specific Belgariad roles XD

Especially if we can make Tony a magiian since he hates magic so much XD

(or him as the lord posing as a rogue. He could totally pull that one off too)

OMG. Agent Coulson as the King's man sent to hunt down wayward Prince Tony as he's gallivanting around the country with farmboy Steve on the Epic Quest and Clint the surly archer and Natsha the mysterious femme fatale? We could totally steal Hulk as the Fezzik-esque strong man?
