Dear God, the Sylar/Maya scenes just made me ROFL.
I KNOW. There's this person on my f-list who does hilarious reviews of this show, and she said she liked Sylar so much better before the show realized Zachary Quinto was hot. It made me cackle a bit.
I'm still thinking and hoping that the limitations of Kirsten Bell are in the script, not the actress - and I do think I've seen glimmers of something better from Elle, so we shall see. I hope so, partly for the sake of "Heroes" - I'm really rooting for the show, and would like to think that it isn't so limited in stereotypes as to make all the pretty young women vapid whiners.
More than that, I was so impressed by Kirsten Bell as Veronica Mars, I'd like to think she has the potential to mature into some excellent and substantial acting in her future career - something we haven't seen much of from Holllywood actresses, who usually disappear for the next crop of beautiful young women, rather than becoming noteworthy actresses. But maybe it was just a matter of having a perfect fit between actress and script for that one show

Too many characters, too many stupidly naive characters. (For gods sake, shouldn't Mohinder have gotten himself killed by now?)
