Today I learned: Do not put the protein powder in the oatmeal. Even though you think it will make Superfood!, what it actually makes is Kind Of Gross!

The full story is forthcoming, but yes: I'm alive and mostly well. It had nothing to do with stomach acids or esophagus. I had emergency surgery to remove my gallbladder. I will eventually tell you all about it.

My esophagus is trying to kill me. I've been basically immobile for what will be 48 hours at 10:00 tonight, and I sort of want to die. As soon as I can think about something other than the fact that I'm in a lot of pain, I'll be working on an appointment with a gastroenterologist.
