The Silver Lining
The silver lining of my gallbladder surgery being when it was and disrupting my semester and throwing me into weeks of anxiety attacks and fear of not graduating? That I still have insurance. Which I will lose promptly upon graduation.
Because I just got a bill for $20,479.65 (that's right. AND SIXTY-FIVE CENTS. Don't forget the sixty-five cents!), but thankfully, right below that garguantuan, terrifying figure, it notes:
** YOUR INSURANCE HAS BEEN BILLED.
Thank fucking God.
