Angelic Layer reminds me of Beyblade, more than anything. It was cute, I guess, for a run-of-the-mill sports/tournament series. Weird ending, and that epilogue bit that went "well, nothing really changed ever since the series ended but everybody got together" was... really not necessary, jeez (according to Wiki, I now need to watch the anime in ( Read more... )
