As a rule, Emma isn't a fan of Valentine's day, unless it garners her a multitude of high quality presents (only received, never given). The fact is, Emma likes the holidays, and that's no less true for being here. It doesn't matter that Emma's not teaching phys ed these days. She does what it takes to stay in shape, to stay a step ahead. The jungle here is littered with reminders of people who came before - fighters of all kinds, by the looks of it. There's very little Emma likes about the island and less she'll admit to liking. Sometimes she likes the quiet - not that of her absent powers, but the moments she can have to herself, no one else around.
