The scrub pants arrived on my doorstep this afternoon! :) They *do* fit over the splint in fact, for a "small", they're quite a bit larger than I expected. I'm almost hoping they shrink a bit. I got re-splinted today. Dr. didn't know why it wasn't fitting either, but agreed that it didn't, and the fix was to fit a new one. He said it should *not* have been affected at all by getting wet - once it sets, that should be it ( Read more... )

Looks like it'll be surgery for me. A plate and screws. Surgery to be scheduled Thursday (I have to call back, gal who does that left early today.) It's the fibula that's broken, not the tibia. Ligaments on the other side are damaged ( Read more... )
