Wow, that was fast!
The scrub pants arrived on my doorstep this afternoon! :) They *do* fit over the splint in fact, for a "small", they're quite a bit larger than I expected. I'm almost hoping they shrink a bit. Right now they're in the wash. I don't normally wash new stuff before wearing it, but there was a warning about the dye bleeding, and they were a bit stiff. I'm hoping they soften up just a tad.
I'm plotting how to make downstairs usable for a day or two after surgery (shouldn't be too bad) and how I might get the big a/c put back in the bathroom window down here, since it's too big for one person to handle.
Soon. Because it's hot and I'm sweating. :-p
I'm also re-reading the HP series (currently halfway through book three), which I do periodically, and usually before a new book comes out. If anyone knows anything after reading the seventh book, please, show some respect for your fellow fans: NO SPOILERS (at least none that are not clearly marked and lj-cut) . I've done a bit of background reading, and if anyone's interested in discussing thoughts or theories *before* the book comes out, I'll start a thread as a separate entry for that.
