Another artsy momment - kinda
Lately, I reread Neil Gaiman's Sandman. I've always been fascinated by the characters he created in that series - not only for their personalities, but also for their looks and appearances. So today I decided to see if I could recreate those looks on real people. Here's the first try, the Corinthian.

First invoice
I just gave my client my first invoice as a freelance graphic designer. For a hundred hours of onsite work, they are paying me $3200. That's almost one and a half time what I used to get a month, and that was only for three (light) weeks' worth of time.
I'm giddy. I'm happy. I'm checking the prices of the new iMacs on the Apple store. -
