On the other hand : RIP, Robert Jordan. See what happens when you earn the eternal enmity of millions of frustrated readers? That's what. Hell hath no evil-eyed fury like a bunch or geeks scorned, I guess.
Can't say I'm too concerned about this (I got over the Wheel of Time books when they got unbearably slow, round book six...) but I'm sure that if I were, I'd feel the usual GDF (Great Disturbance in the Force.)
