I got my tax credit for the condo! Man, seeing that return come in was awesome. I also just bought myself some nice Dr. Pepper stock (only 20 shares, but it's something) to add to my Duke Power and GE. A Weekend Away
This was a good weekend. Friday was some hanging out, from winebar and the Pens game in the afternoon, to Barragans for a margarita with Cyndi&David, back to winebar to hang with Carrol and her brother Ned, then to my place after close with them, Megan, Tom, Hermine, and Jessica. Things are shaping up nicely at the new place. It will be time soon to start hanging paintings and art, and then I can take pictures for all of you kind folks. -
Adventures in Homeownership
I moved this weekend into the new condo, or at least mostly. I'm now having adventures in homeownership. Luckily good plumbers and handymen are in ready supply these days due to the rescession ( Read more... ) -

GAR!!!
So, the bank is being slow, so we're looking at funding today, not yesterday, and recording tomorrow.
I hope I acutally get my keys tomorrow, since, you know, I want to move Sunday and want Joe to see the place tomorrow and want to be able to hang out with Megan in it tomorrow.
So, we'll see we'll see.
