A Weekend Away
This was a good weekend. Friday was some hanging out, from winebar and the Pens game in the afternoon, to Barragans for a margarita with Cyndi&David, back to winebar to hang with Carrol and her brother Ned, then to my place after close with them, Megan, Tom, Hermine, and Jessica. 'Twas a good night. Saturday was sleeping in, then breakfast, then jogging, then BBQ for a late lunch. After Megan went to work I waxed my car (a mistake, due to the lack of light in my garage causing me to miss buffing places, and due to the impending plans for Sunday), played some Diablo II, and then went to Megan's to watch TV til she got home.
Sunday was also a good day. We drove to Sequoia, all the way through the park, and to Fresno and back to LA. We took pictures, saw some huge trees and great views, and had fun. And threw snowballs at each other. (Note: My aim sucks these days--I'm glad I'm not expected to throw any spell-packets anymore.)
'Course, I drove the whole way, so that was about 10 hours of driving for me yesterday. So, while I'm a bit saddle-sore today, it was a good weekend. For sure.
Next weekend--Connecticut for JoJo's wedding. And so starts the summer of travel.
