This story has saddened, sickened, and appaled me. What has pushed it over the limit is the fact that not ONE major news media outlet has reported this story. It has been 3 months, and this story is just now making it's way out through blogosphere. What a sick and sad state of affairs. I finally got response from Dell's customer advocate, saying my concerns have reached the Resolution Expert Center within Dell, Inc. My guess it that is doesn't mean much, and they are still going to try and charge me an arm and a leg to get it corrected. We'll see........

So, without so much as an automated cookie cutter response from the "Dell advocate" I e-mailed in over a week, I decided to step up the game, and have submitted a complaint to the NC Attorney General, and the Better Business Bureau.  I am not expecting any response from dell at this point, as it is apparent they don't give a shit how crappy of a ( Read more... )

So a while back I had resigned myself to the fact that my poor 3 year old laptop was just never going to work right again without some major money....as in, more money than I paid for it.
