I haven't written here in a while so here's a quick update since graduation:

I got a job at MIS...which is nice when I have something to do, otherwise I just read or piddle around on the computer. But most of the time, I'm getting paid to sit there and read :) How nice.

I just got home from visiting my Aunt Mel, Uncle Matt, and three year old cousin Samuel in San Antonio for the past few days, and I must say I already miss it. :(  Getting to play with Samuel and make him smile and laugh touched me in a way one never thinks possible until it happens....I love children. oh, and this morning's thing at JCPenny's? TOTALLY worth it, loved the chick-fil-a cow :) not to mention browsing through all the girlie sections of the new store...hehe

Special things that happened to smile about ( Read more... )

Today was fabulous. Getting up early, meeting at the band hall, having a great time at lunch, paint everywhere, dancing, singing, Travis and I falling asleep on the job, "where's the other sink?", and of course puppies.

It can't get much better than this :) and that makes me smile.

I've determined that pillow fights are extremely fun and should become a new sport. Four of us decided to divulge ourselves in a massive livingroom pillow fight today, and it lasted forever, mainly because we were all laughing so hard at random jokes cracked in the most random times. I'm finally going to stop traveling the world and keep still in Texas for a while.
