So, exactly one week until I leave for Germany. And while I should be scurrying around making last minute preparations, I have been out and about all the time.

I wrote out two postcards last night. One for both of my families. I have yet to send them out, because I don't know how much postage they need for international delivery.

Heather and I went to Big Bear-- I had to go to buy warm clothes, seeing how I will be living in Bavaria (which gets coooold). They don't have warm clothes in Lakewood anywhere (especially since its June...) so we went up there to the ski shops, etc. and hit the sales ( Read more... )

The end of school is rolling around (tomorrow...).

I bought a digital camera today, along with some warm clothes (Its cold over there).

Things are coming together! The latest word: I will be spending 4 weeks in Hamburg to do my language training before I move in with a host family; other than that I am clueless as to what is to happen.

I have just bought my lap-top, and now I am setting up my e-mail and this website so I can stay in touch with everyone... Nothing new... I have to fill out the packet that the AYA sent me so they can set me up with a host-family. Its kind of stressful, I have to write an essay and fill out all sorts of personal questions.
