lol! at that game. Almost sounds like something I'd like to watch, hee Hope none of those people were claustrophobic who had to sleep in the capsule hotel. And ew at cleaning up the pachinko parlor.
The players were also, for the most part, friendly towards each other, though they knew it was a game. That's rather different from most games that are out there at the moment. I like that mood
Wow, that's a rarity. I'd like the mood of that, too. Snarky competitiveness irritates me.
It was quite fun to watch. It's probably pretty easy to find online, and I'm hoping there will be more seasons of it. The three stuck in the capsule hotel didn't seem to have any problems with claustrophobia.
It is a rarity. There was a little bit of snarkiness, but only a trace of it. And a majority of it was caused by only two people, so it wasn't the whole house getting into it.
I get what you're saying on the balance. My menu is pretty much the same as yours: RP, write fanfic, write original stories, and look for a paying job. The last one is the most difficult one, since I've come to consider the first three more entertaining/morale boosting. :/ Here's hoping it works out for both of us.
And I also just finished watching the first season of Angel! Which is exciting, since the only episode I had ever seen of it beforehand was the last twenty minutes of "I Will Remember You" (and I only think that's the one I saw while channel surfing almost 10 years ago). Doyle has easily become one of my favorite Whedonverse characters, if only for the tragedy surrounding both him and his actor.
And I remembered you saying that you liked the cello opening of Angel, so when I watched the first episode I said to myself, "Oh! That's what Jackie meant! I like this more than Buffy's opening!" XD
Yay for commonality? Hee. Yeah... life just is either devoid of options or overfull. ~hugs~
Doyle was awesome. I really enjoyed him, and was hoping that he left the city instead of dying, because I knew he wasn't there in later episodes. No such luck. Figures; this is Whedon, after all. Oh well. First (or second, I forget,) episode of the second season we meet my second-favorite character, Lorne. It was nice to see him. :D What's the tragedy surrounding the actor? And I'm glad you're watching through it too! Means I have someone I know to talk about it with, hee

I knew Doyle died, but I had hope that he'd come back, as do so many of Joss' other characters. Sadly, though, Glenn Quinn (his actor) passed away three years after his last appearance on Angel, due to a heroin overdose. There's a lot of speculation about whether Doyle was meant to die that soon or if it was Joss' way of firing Quinn before his drug and alcohol addiction took a toll on his work. Either way, it's quite sad

Ouch. Drug and alcohol problems are way too prevalent. :( There's been a lot of rumors ever since Richard Biggs' (Dr. Stephen Franklin on Babylon 5)death that it was drug-related too, though made to seem more polite for the family's sake

lol! does your plan involve dust bunnies like my little cousins? ^_~
also, im glad you are able to walk without the cane. and all the fun you seem to be having.
as for writing woes... i cant really help too much since i dont know your characters.. i dont know if you've been told this *probably* but the only creative writing teacher i had said sometimes it just helps to sit and write things on paper. whether its mindless doodles or "i hate you, i hate this" over and over. the movement of pen on paper helps the ideas flow. Personally, i just let the characters do what they want and see where it takes me. i guess thats why i only write for myself and for fun. :-P
(this creative writing class was in middle school btw and i dont know why i ended up in there considering most of the time we sat around and spun rings or talked or whatever. adn we were the "good" ones. lol)
I have to say that I have not considered utilizing dust bunnies, or any sort of bunnies, in my plan to take over the world. I may have to reconsider this. ;)
Thanks! :D
Yeah, writing it out can help a bit, but there's a limit to what's IC and OOC. I know my characters. When they're OOC, it's me trying to push them too hard, and I have to work around it, come at it from a different angle. I'll work through it. :)
understand that. characters can be fun, but they can be brats too.. i usually let mine fight in my head before i allow them anywhere near paper. i think thats prolly why i dont really finish anything. lol. *seriously, i think i just like making up characters to see how they will interact.. lol* >.>
