Here's the plan. Rule the world.

No, wait, that's the plan that's supposed to stay secret. And also get stuck in my head to be sung over and over. Darn catchy songs.

Ahem.

I knew Doyle died, but I had hope that he'd come back, as do so many of Joss' other characters. Sadly, though, Glenn Quinn (his actor) passed away three years after his last appearance on Angel, due to a heroin overdose. There's a lot of speculation about whether Doyle was meant to die that soon or if it was Joss' way of firing Quinn before his drug and alcohol addiction took a toll on his work. Either way, it's quite sad.

I'm looking for the rest of the seasons reasonably cheap so that I can buy them, since I'm one of those people who needs to own everything she watches (another reason why a paying job would be nice XD). But as soon as I get the second season and get a look at Lorne, we'll discuss. :D

Cellos are lovely. I don't have much of a discerning ear when it comes to music, but I have a friend who plays cello, so I know a little bit about the instrument. I used to hate string instruments in general, but that's been changing after working on several musicals in college. And yes, flutes are love, especially most of the Asian ones I've heard. <3

Ouch. Drug and alcohol problems are way too prevalent. :( There's been a lot of rumors ever since Richard Biggs' (Dr. Stephen Franklin on Babylon 5)death that it was drug-related too, though made to seem more polite for the family's sake.

The timing of Doyle's death felt very Joss-like. He'd been getting close to Cordelia, she was softening up to the point that his being a half-demon wouldn't upset her, and they had the potential there to have a strong 'requited' bond. Joss doesn't do requited for the most part. Yeah, in Serenity one of the pairs that looked like it would happen all season happened, but one still was shaky and unsure, and half of the third was dead. The bits I know about Buffy (have only seen five or so episodes of that from early seasons) suggest that none of the couples wound up happy. I won't talk about the couples on Angel, since you're just seeing it. But he doesn't seem to go for requited much at all. I really hope that's a word. I keep using it... Unrequited is a word. Shouldn't requited be?

While you wait to acquire said seasons, there's always www.surfthechannel.com ;) I'm pretty sure you've at least had to see Lorne before, glimpsed him or something. He's green, has horns, likes to sing. But yeah. I tend to acquire seasons of things too. I just normally wait to find it used. :D

I want to learn cello. Then again, I want to learn a lot of different instruments.
