This is my icon of the Jedi I played in a game run by a dead person, drawn by another player who is now also dead.
Although the GM is dead, her wife is still running the game, in fact, there's a session this weekend -- but I haven't had the heart for it.
Anyway, if having Tetsuko around would add to the imaginary people taking care of you -- she's not doing anything, I can send her over. I am not sure exactly what having a Jedi around would DO for you, but she's very sweet and a little skewed and she's awfully good at tea.
It may not be as bad as what other people are dealing with but don't make that the yardstick by which you measure things. It is life altering for 'you' and therefore it is what is worst in your life at this moment. It's understandable that you're having such trouble with it because she was a part of your life for so long.
Return to life in small steps. That's the best you can do. Today it's writing, maybe tomorrow or the next day will be laundry. It's one step and one day at a time. There's nothing wrong with that. It's normal.
I'm so sorry. :( We just lost our second kitty in two years, and our Corgi is on his last legs. I get the grief fog. It is where I've been living for the past two months
