What a big day he had on Monday!  To the vet for bladder surgery, where they removed 5 apple seed sized loose stones, and where they also clipped his claws and SHAVED HIM.  Then home with a cone, then back to the vet on Tuesday for observation (they babysat him for me so I could sleep!)

Poor guy had a rough day.

I took him to the vet because he has another eye infection.  They checked his eye for ulcers, seems clear, though it's still possible he has feline ocular herpes that acts up occasionally and causes grossness.  That sucks, but isn't scary.  So we medicate and be patient and see how he does.

Now that Fish is gone, Etrigan has been coming to sleep with me every night the door is open.  He will come in a few hours before I get up and lay up by my head with his head bonked against mine or his chin resting on my head/face/neck, and often with one paw thrown over me, and he will sack right out.  I've NEVER had a cat want to be so literally ( Read more... )

We don't know why. Sargon went into his room and found her lying on his coat, like always, only she wasn't asleep.

Welp, it finally happened.

Etrigan's ass-funk.  On my face.

We were playing fetch while I dried off from the shower.  I threw the mouse, he lost it, I carried him over to the couch to show him it was on the other side, VERY GENTLY pushed him off the couch toward it, and got a broadside across the starboard bow.
