I'm so sorry. :( We just lost our second kitty in two years, and our Corgi is on his last legs. I get the grief fog. It is where I've been living for the past two months.
Sometimes I glance up at the calendar and wonder where all the days went.
Most days I'm ok, but my schedule has gone to shit. Without having to feed an ancient kitty four times a day, and keep track of meds... I just sort of stay awake for ages. And then can't sleep. Or sleep for 12 hours for no reason.
I feel stupid for saying this, since you don't know me whatsoever. But I've been around for years reading about that goblin of yours, and I sobbed when you shared the news. And I'm sobbing now. She was an amazing beastie, and I always looked forward to pictures and stories about her. Maybe nobody else got to see the best of her in person, but I know I'm not the only one who loved her from afar.
And now I feel silly for typing all this in my sleep-deprived state, but I refuse to delete yet another comment un-posted. Also, eyeball sniffing made me giggle. And remember my silly Tikki-cat, as he used to do that whenever I took off my glasses when he was near my face. "ZOMG EYEBALLS!" Cats are SO WEIRD.
