No! BAD Movie!

Writers' barbecue tonight. I really, really, really wish that you all were here, because I always have a lot of fun when I get a little tipsy. Until I fall asleep in my husband's lap, only to wake up to a conversation about Star Wars slash fiction and naughty tentacles ( Read more... )

Monica Bellucci? Naked?!?!? Sign me up!

Also: I watch Angie movies solely for hotness. I have seen almost everything she's made so far, except for Life or Something Like it, because she is blonde and not hot on the cover, and I'd really have to get inspired; and Alexander, because BLAH and it cost way much in the theaters. Also, I just found out about Fever, and I haven't seen Sky Captain, but... everything ELSE! Mmmm, Original Sin. Mmmmmm, Tomb Raider. MMMMMMMMM OMG my tongue is hanging to my knees, Foxfire!

Sky Captain: the eyepatch fucking rules. And her character is named "Frankie." That is just mad sexy to me for some reason.

Original Sin, the uncut version, should have made it onto my guilty pleasures list. Man, are those sex scenes ever close to porn. And Antonio, too. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven.

I love Troy. I bought it and everything. I'm well aware of the overacting and the fact that the lavish sets mask the historical inaccuracy. However, I'm much more aware of Brad Pitt in a leather skirt. groan Brad Pitt in a leather skirt, dear Jesus. Oh, and the chick who played Helen? Yeah, I'd do her too.

And Gladiator? I found the movie to be confusing and anti-climatic. But I'd watch it again and again for Joaquin Phoenix and Russell Crowe. I know that in real life Russell's got some anger management issues. But I feel strongly that some good old-fashioned scrumpin' would alleviate his stress and make him a kinder, gentler person. That skinny bitch he married is apparently not taking care of business, and I would gladly volunteer to help out.

Wow. Word to everything you said. Especially the last bit. And the leather skirt bit.

Essentially: everything. Yeah.

When did you become the Rabid Bitch of the Apocalypse? I thought you were Daughter of Babylon?

Don't know . . . sometime during my last bout of PMS, I think.

You don't know me, I don't know you, and honestly, I can't even remember where I first got your livejournal address from--how's that for creepy?

I just thought I would throw in my two bits, and say that I absolutely love Van Helsing. It's quite possibly the worst movie that I've ever seen in my life, but I enjoy watching it. And I watch it over. And over. And over.

(Not only for the Hugh Jackman, either. The other dude is hot as well. Too bad he was clearly slated to die from the beginning, as he was far too good-looking for the rest of the movie.)

Yes. Will Kemp.

GAH.

OMG.

Just . . . hot. And Her Royal Hottitude, Kate Beckinsale, who OWNS ME.

Rrrrowr.

I've got to admit, Billy Zane and Sherrie Rose were the only reasons I ever watched Tales From the Crypt - Demon Knight more than once.

I'm stopping with that one, which came first to mind; I'm a little worried about how long of a list I'd wind up with, otherwise.

I have meant to see that for YEARS now, and never gotten to it. I understand it's terrible and a lot of fun.

It borders on being one of those "so bad it's good" B-movies, and Zane has a knack for being the kind of villain that you start rooting for almost as soon as you meet him (he did that in Posse, too, but not quite as well.) You should definitely see it, if only for that. :)

Yeah, I'd do Legolas or Frodo or Wolverine (yum, Wolverine) or any character that Andy Garcia has ever played. I don't ever fantasize about actors per se; just the characters that they played. Sam played by Johnny Depp in "Benny and Joon". Oh, yeah.

I'll grab Sam when you've finished with him!
