I wanted to recommend "Moonlight", the new vampire series on CBS to any poor soul out there who may have missed it.  I am so in love with Mick St. John.  It's not quite up to Buffy, but it has its moments, and there is good chemistry (is there ever!) between Mick and his romantic interest - although after last episode, I should say 'interests'.  ( Read more... )

I just snatched Jim Butcher's latest book, White Night, off the shelf of the bookstore, and devoured it.   I can honestly say that when I finished it, I immediately wanted to re-read it.  If  ya'll aren't familiar with this series, I'd urge you to give it a try.  He has developed the knack of making his characters (most of them) come alive.  I can ( Read more... )

It's raining and not cold outside.  The trees still stand naked.

I'm ready for spring.  Spring, flowers, baby birds.  And a nap.  I think I'll go see if any cats want to nap with me.
