My work status is going to be changing in a couple of weeks.

No more 24-hour shifts for me. And a drastic cutback in how many patients I see.

Today's clinical didn't last long...there were three intubations on the schedule, but only one actually was done today. Oh well, that moves the counter from five to four that I have to either perform or observe. And I still have just over two months ( Read more... )

Just after 16h00 yesterday, I was at a hospital waiting for my partner to finish giving report to the nursing staff regarding a patient we had just brought in. Another ambulance got dispatched to a reported overturned semi on the interstate.

Then another ambulance got sent there.

Then another.
