I know I haven't posted in a couple of months, but there hasn't been a lot to tell. Or maybe there has, but the news is so bad that I just don't want to talk about it.

I made an old lady cry today at work! I feel so bad about it. She's one of the regular customers who comes through my line. I told her I was leaving and my last day is the 22nd. She burst into tears! -

I talked to Heather, the HR rep from Loomis, a little while ago. As long as I pass the drug test (not a problem!) and can pass the fitness (maybe a problem) test where I have to lift 50 lbs, I HAVE THE JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -

Ken is going to leave on Tuesday to fly to Oregon with his mom. He won't be back until August 5th! Am I bad for being happy about this? -

Wow, I can't believe it's been so long since I posted. I'm not sure if I told you or not, but Ken's cousin Sander passed away in May. We couldn't go to the funeral since we don't have passports. Sander lived in the Netherlands. Sander was Hanny's sister Peggy's son. He was 53 and had pancreatic cancer. Hanny went over for the funeral and, ( Read more... ) -
