The National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) today announced that Top Fuel and Fuel Funny Car races will be shortened from the traditional 1,320 feet -- or quarter-mile -- to 1000 feet. So Robert Hight was supposed to have faced Scott Kalitta in the first round of eliminations at the NHRA competition in Englishtown, NJ. But because of the tragic accident that claimed Kalitta's life, Hight ran the race alone

I wanted to look at the qualifying ladder for the NHRA competition at Englishtown, NJ for this weekend. But who qualified where isn't important right now.
