Sis and all 4 boys are coming to visit me. They fly in tonight, so they'll be leaving their house around noon. I'm talking to her on the phone doing last minute preparations, and here is what's going on ( Read more... )

My sis and the BIL have signed up for dancing lessons. The morning after their first lesson, she offered to teach the boys what they had learned. On the phone with my sis, I could hear sad sounds in the background, and then . . .

"I bonked my head"

(I love when little kids say "bonked")

And then she asked S1 in reference to one of his little brothers, "will you please help him find his sandals?"

His classic reponse, "he doesn't know where they are."

Uh. Yeah. That's the point :)

Somehow, S1 and S2 are discussing what Grandpa does. Perhaps they're talking about Daddy going to work, or Gramma quilting, or Mommy taking care of them. Whatever the thing that sparked this conversation, it came about. So they start making a list. Here is what Grandpa does ( Read more... )
